CALME, MARY ALICE, beloved wife of Richard J. "Ric" Calme of 39 years. Loving mother of Stephen Calme ’99, Rachel (Robert) Ryan, and Christine (Michael) Casciato. Treasured grandmother of Eleanor and Oliver Ryan, and Luciana Casciato. Dear sister of Edward J. (Donna) Rohling. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Monica Rohling. She passed away Tues., February 28th, 2017, at age 63. Mary Alice was a devoted nurse and instructor at The Christ Hospital for almost four decades. A woman of deep faith, her enduring joy and gratitude inspired countless students, friends, and family members. She enjoyed classical music, loved outings with family and friends, and fell asleep every night with a book in her hand. Her loving heart found expression in many charities and social justice activities, trying to protect and improve the lives of all people.
