NICKERSON, JERRY THOMAS, 76, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2017. Jerry was born to the late James A. and Pauline Nickerson on February 12, 1941. He was a graduate of Western Hills High School and of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terra Haute, IN. He retired as VP of Southern Ohio Fabricators in 2003. Mr. Nickerson is survived by his wife Anne (Boyd) Nickerson, his daughters Jennifer Nickerson and Laurie Deters, and grandsons Cecil Demske, Lucas Demske, Aidan Burdick, Alex Deters ’16, Evan Deters ’18; his brother Jack (Donna) Nickerson and his step-children Tracy Barnes, Jeff (Jill) Barnes and Matt (Margaret) Barnes and their children. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother James A. Nickerson II and sister-in-law Pat Nickerson. A service will be held at Westwood United Methodist Church this summer and, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the James A. and Pauline R. Nickerson Scholarship at the University of Cincinnati College of Business.
