HOELSCHER, WALTER J. Naples, FL Walter J. Hoelscher 81, of Naples, FL died Thursday, October 12, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Walter was born June 22, 1936 in Union, MO as son of the late William M. and Emma A. (nee Haberberger) Hoelscher. He had been a resident of Naples since 1995 moving from Chesterfield, MO. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and currently was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Walter also volunteered for many years at St. Vincent de Paul Society in Bonita Springs. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business and Accounting. In the early 70's he started his own firm, Walter J. Hoelscher, CPA, PC in Chesterfield, MO and retired in 2000. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara A. (nee Williamson) Hoelscher of Naples, FL; one son, Michael J. Hoelscher and his wife, Katrina of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Lorraine Peebles of Sullivan, MO and Geraldine Dueker of Union, MO and four grandchildren, including Mitchell Hoelscher ’19, Cheryl Manley-Tiberio and her husband, Chris of New Orleans, LA, Shannon Manley of New Haven, CT, Kaitlyn Manley of Stevenson, MD and Mitchell Hoelscher of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Dr. Mark D. (Annette) Manley, MD of Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Susan A. Manley and one sister, Mary Louise Walters. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home 28300 So. Tamiami Tr. Bonita Springs, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 28300 Beaumont Rd., Bonita Springs.
