CHANNELL, ROSA LEE (NEE VINSON) , 89, beloved wife of the late Herman C. Channell passed away peacefully of Friday, March 17, 2018. She was the devoted mother of Victoria Penebaker (James), Rowena Prophett (Edward), Dena Reed, Herman D. Channell (Regina), proud grandmother of five, including James Penebaker ’05 and great-grandmother of five. During her life she served her community by working at several local hospitals as a nurse and was a faithful member of Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church. Rosa Lee will be remembered for her smile and loving spirit. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 31, 2018, starting 2 PM, at Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church, 103 William Howard Taft Road, Cincinnati, OH 45219. Inurnment will be held privately at Spring Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you honor Rosa's memory by contributing to Mount Auburn Presbyterian Church.
