KRUMME, DOROTHY Cincinnati - Dorothy Meyer Krumme was born in 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of Dorothy Hutchinson Meyer and Ernest Meyer and beloved widow of James C. Krumme with whom she shared her life for 65 years. Dorothy passed away peacefully at Christ Hospital surrounded by her seven children on April 14th. Dorothy attended Miss Doherty's College Preparatory School and then the University of Cincinnati where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. As a longtime member of Our Lord Christ the King parish, she volunteered in many capacities; her favorite was sharing her beautiful voice as a member of the choir. Dorothy loved her family and many wonderful friends in both Cincinnati and Anna Maria,Florida. Her greatest joy was hosting celebrations with her ever- expanding family.She was preceded in death by her husband James and her sister, Gladys Hughes. Dorothy is survived by seven children: James Krumme (Jonathan Garrison) ’66, Mark Krumme (Linda) ’68, Rosalind Bullard and friend Daniel Laurence, Anne Richardson (Peter), Margaret Dines (David), Andrew Krumme (Clare) ’82 Ellen Slattery (Robert), 21 grandchildren, including Robert Krumme ’06 and Andrew Krumme ’03, James Bullard ’96 and 20 great-grandchildren. Dorothy was active until the final few days of her life and was grateful for every minute of her 90 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lord Christ the King Church, Mt.
